DEKM starts with five races in 2020 – race calendar from July to October

The Corona pandemic also causes shifts in the racing calendar in the German Electric Kart Championship (DEKM). After first relaxations in the past days and openings of the kart tracks, the DEKM now presents a new racing calendar for the 2020 season. Still five races are planned between July and October.

In Kerpen, Mülsen and Ampfing the E-Karts are on the road together with DKM, Germany’s highest kart racing series. The season opener, on the other hand, will take place from 3 – 5 July together with the ADAC Kart Masters in Oschersleben. In the run-up to the first race weekend, the official test days will also be held at Oschersleben from 30 June to 1 July. At the beginning of September (04. – 06. September) the world’s first electric karting championship will make a detour to Wackersdorf for the Rotax Max Challenge Euro Trophy. Drivers from seven nations have already registered for the championship.
